Adolph E. Malanoski

Adolph E. Malanoski, 76, of Tamaroa, passed away at 12:50 p.m. Sunday, January 16, 2000 at his residence.
Adolph was a retired farmer and carpenter.  He had worked for Dale Williams Construction.  He was a member of Immaculate Conception Catholic Church of Tamaroa, The Carpenters Local 636, Tamaroa American Legion Post 1277 and DuQuoin VFW Post 513.  He was a U.S. Navy veteran of WW II.
He was born October 9, 1923 at Tamaroa, the son of Felix and Helen M. (Ratajczyk) Malanowski.  He married Helen L. Wisniewski on May 7, 1949 at Cicero and she survives.
He is survived by his wife of Tamaroa, two sisters, Elizabeth Malanowski of Tamaroa and Florence Kabat of St. Louis, MO; one brother, Daniel Malanowski of Tamaroa; several nieces and nephews; great-nieces and nephews and great-great-nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister, Adela Malanowski.
Funeral services were Wednesday, January 19 at 10 a.m. at the Immaculate Conception Catholic Church in Tamaroa with Fr. Daniel Jurek officiating.
Friends were able to call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Searby Funeral Home in Tamaroa.  The Rosary was said at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
Interment was in the Immaculate Conception Cemetery at Tamaroa.
Friends may make memorials to Masses or to TIP Hospice at 3224 S. Park Ave., Herrin, IL.
Military graveside rites were conducted by the Tamaroa American Legion Post 1277.
